ACP-EU Science and Technology Programme

 

The global objectives of this call for proposals are: To address the scientific and technological divide between ACP member states and the most industrialised countries. To strengthen Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) in ACP countries to enable creation, update and use of scientific knowledge. To enhance the use of STI as a key enabler for poverty reduction, growth and socio-economic development.

The ACP Science and Technology Programme (ACP S&T) is an ACP-EU co-operation programme in the field of science and technology. It is funded by the European Union and implemented by the ACP Secretariat.
The programme originates from the need for joint and systematic ACP-EU approaches in support of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI).

The current EDULINK II programme (funded under the 10th EDF as well as a contribution from the EU Budget Development Co-operation Instrument – Relations with South Africa) is designed to continue fostering co-operation in the field of Higher Education between the countries of the ACP States and the European Union.
