SARECO Visiting Research Fellowships

Grant sum: maximum 70 kCHF per project

Third party funding: strongly encouraged

Project duration: 3 to 15 months

Eligible countries
Switzerland and sub-Saharan Africa, with priority given to proposals from one of the designated key strategic countries (Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya and Uganda).

Research areas
Advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), using methodologies developed within the domains of Climate Change, Global and Environmental Health, Migration, Nanosciences and the Social Sciences have been designated as main areas of joint research action. Multidisciplinary approaches are encouraged.

Eligibility 
All scientists of Swiss universities, universities of applied sciences and public research institutions, are eligible to apply. Interested applicants are required to hold a PhD degree or to have submitted their doctoral thesis and to be employed by the home institution before, during and after their visit.

Deadline for submission: 10th June 2018

Communication of funding decision: 10th August 2018
