Mercator Foundation

The Mercator Foundation Switzerland initiates and funds projects in three core areas: Science; Children and Youth; Human and Environment.

The motivation of the foundation serves an open-minded society, which is willing to learn and acts responsible in its environment. By funding university projects the role of Switzerland as a hotspot for knowledge and research shall be strengthened. The foundation supports the scientific community to address important social challenges like the protection of natural life foundations. Furthermore, the foundation enhances optimal education opportunities for children and youngsters inside and outside of schools to help with the development of personal engagement.
