The SASBI Knowledge group will meet in Kigali to discuss mechanisms of entrepreneurship building and promotion of science-based start up activities. Directors and managers of entrepreneurship and innovation centers at universities of the SASBI program countries (South Africa, Rwanda, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Switzerland) are invited to participate and contribute to this exchange of professionals.

The event is currently planned as an on-site physical meeting. Please specify in this form whether you would also join the workshop as a hybrid or online-only format.

In the afternoon of the first workshop day, a FORUM will offer space for presentation to early-stage start-up companies of participating Universities. Each start-up will receive feedback on-site from an international review panel and compete for one of the residency places offered for Switzerland.

The whole AIT Switzerland – Africa program runs from 2021 to 2024.
