Summer Research Summit: Frontiers of Migration Research

CUHK will be holding the “Summer Research Summit: Frontiers of Migration Research” during 16-22 July 2017. The event will feature public lectures by leading scholars in migration studies (Oxford, UCLA, Brown, Toronto), a publication workshop, and social visits to local NGOs. Participants will receive a certificate for completing all lectures and workshops.

Advanced PhD students and early career researchers from around the world are welcome to apply (30 spaces available. No registration fee). Registration is now open until 3 June 2017. Applicants will be asked to submit a long abstract of the research paper to be presented and discussed at the Summit.

For participants from outside Hong Kong, on-campus accommodation in the University Guest House (twin rooms) will be arranged and a limited amount of travel subsidies will be provided.
