Call for Swiss – African research projects

Within the framework of Swiss research cooperation with scholars in South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa a call for advanced PhD students and early postdoctoral researchers has been launched. Applicants can apply for a visiting fellowship between 3 and 15 months. Eligible costs include equipment costs, research funds and mobility stipends. Projects should address any of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the context of Swiss-sub-Saharan African cooperation, and multidisciplinary projects are encouraged from collaborations that include one or several domains of Climate Change, Global and Environmental Health, Migration, Nanosciences and Social Sciences. Each candidate can apply for a maximum budget of 70,000 CHF by the 10th of June.
