Kenya leads African Nations in Global Investment Ranking, securing third Place in FDI Standout Watchlist for 2024.

The latest report from the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Standout Watchlist reveals that Kenya’s efforts in cross-border investments have been successful. In the 2024 rankings, Kenya stands out as the third country globally with the strongest investment drive, boasting rating of 87.44. This achievement surpasses European nations and positions Kenya as the leading African nation on the list. Notably, two other African countries, Namibia (fifth) and Morocco (eighth), also made it to the top ten.

The majority of the top-ranking countries are from Asia, with Cambodia claiming the top spot with a score of 96.11, followed closely by the Philippines at 94.43. This recognition underscores Kenya’s growing appeal to foreign investors and its positive economic outlook, as it competes on a global scale and continues to attract cross-border investments.
