MeduSoil Ltd, a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Vaud, Switzerland, was established in 2020. Specializing in bio-minerals, MeduSoil manufactures and commercializes mineral binding agents for earthworks, special foundations, and building applications. Their products enhance material properties, reducing risks like settlements, erosion, and liquefaction. MeduSoil’s patented technologies use organic binding agents, minimizing reliance on synthetic chemicals and mined materials, thus supporting net-zero construction. This innovation typically reduces machinery and labor costs by 20-30%, promoting sustainable construction with new mineral additives. Dimitrios Terzis, the Co-Founder, participated in the program 2018.
